Each of the islands in Southwest Florida has its own unique characteristics, but it’s extremely difficult to pick the best. They’re all sensational.

Stump Pass Beach
Stump Pass is a State Park on the southernmost end of Manasota Key in Sarasota County. There are beautiful beaches, accessed by wooden walkways, nature trails to the actual pass, and great restroom facilities. There are, however, no snack bars or lifeguards on duty.
As you travel north on Gulf Blvd. after leaving Stump Pass Beach, you’ll come to Englewood Beach at Chadwick Park. Also, when you take Beach Road into Englewood Beach you’ll run right into Chadwick Park.
Here you’ll find a boardwalk, a gorgeous beach, covered picnic tables, restrooms, a food concession, volleyball area, a children’s play structure and more. There is a nominal charge to park in one of the large parking lots. This is definitely the most popular beach on Manasota Key.
Blind Pass Beach
Heading north you’ll come to Blind Pass Beach. There are wooden walkways traversing above the mangrove dunes going out to the beach.
The parking lot is located on the east side of the road, so use caution walking across to the beach. The beach is beautiful, there are well maintained restrooms, as in all of the beach parks on Manasota Key.
